Leana Knapp and Family

Leana is a member of the club committee and is responsible for breed related problems. Leana created a family tree in order to keep track of available bloodlines and aid in determining problem bloodlines and aid in making a good match.

Leana is married to James and has three sons, Brandon (16) , Richard (12) and Tristan (1).

Her extended family includes two Groenendael bitches, Delatro Rochè and Delatro Koko, both champions as well as a rescue dog, Baby-Girl (MaltesePoodle cross).

	Zena (Delatro Rochè) was born on the 15-03-2004 and when she was just over 6 weeks of age she moved in with Leana and family. Leana decided to get back in the fun of Dog Shows and in October 2004, Zena entered her career in the show ring business. Zena does not like it when a judge has a cap and dark glasses on, but after working on it, she is now having fun and working hard to crawl into the judge’s hearts and change their views on Belgian Shepherds. Zena also does obedience training and there is a strong bond between handler and dog. Early in 2006, Zena got involved with Aunyx, an impressive male belonging to the Kroukamp family. Her adorable brood of 7 (4 males and 3 females) arrived on the 29th April 2006. (Zorro, Zorba, Zimba, Zak, Ziggi, Zenni & Zabbi) They all have lovely temperaments and the potential to become top show-ring dogs. Leana said " I really have high hopes for them and I hope a few might join us soon".
	Koko (Delatro Koko) joined the Knapp family at the end of 2004. She got engage to Zorro (Delatro Vernon), the Knapp's beloved Belgie male who passed away in August 2005. They were blessed to have their first belgie litter of 5 puppies on the 22 Feb 2005 (3 male and 2 female) Uzzi, Uzzia Uzzo, Uzzen and Ula.
